So there are over 7,000 embeddable Daily Show clips now online.

Here is the beginning of the massive archive.

You can peruse every single Daily Show, that is a lot of late night comedy and it's going to need some sifting. There are going to be some incredible clips coming out of this.

You can peruse by date
For Example Videos from March 2003

You can peruse by correspondent
Like Steve Carrell

They also did an incredible job at Tagging each clip quite extensively. For example... God

Testing it out to see if the embeds work, I clicked a random date and grabbed the first clip. Sure enough the embeds work.

This archive will need sifting, any ideas how we can make it interesting?

So what?
Are you Happy?
I am sure sifters will be happy, there is a reason TDS clips get voted up.

That's a nice archive!
Has someone spotted an overview of all tags, apart from just the popular tags?

Three cheers for their own community!!! A few here and there on the sift is no prob, a few dozen a week is absolute crappy crap, crap crap.

The clips are really slow though. Or is it just me? I want to submit one eventually but this performance sucks. I'm watching a clip now and it keeps resetting to the beginning.

I've been having that problem too Deano, it appears they are still tweaking with it, some clips have adds embedded on the video and it appears to be causing problems with some clips, Others I have no problem with.

And Choggie is right, a few here and there is good, as long as there is a good reason to share them, there is no point to flooding the sift with clips.

Could we set this up so we can fix some of our deaded sifts? I tried and get the "The embed code you submitted does not appear to be valid".

Wait...maybe I missed something here...but it looks all the old dead TDS embeds are now undead. I had one that was in the dead pool and the original embed is working now. So the new embed was not even needed.

So how do I handle a sift that was declared "dead" before the "Dead Pool" and is discarded even though the original embed is now working again?

Just went through the Dead Pool and "notdead"ed all of the Daily Show sifts that I could find that no longer had dead embeds.
