>> ^thegrimsleeper: Is it me or does it look like they are focusing a lot more on action in the sequel?
It is more action orientated and will perhaps be more of an FPS than the first game. Still I expect, or would hope, they don't lose those moments of eeriness and uneasy tension.
Ah that's a good point. I might try the tips in the video and see if one person can do this. At the moment it's two of us to do everything including flea treatment and tablets.
Actually did you see the other Petstreet video about swallowing tablets? That cat is one calm kitty
In reply to this comment by Issykitty: LOL, Deano! I believe they would wear down normally from trotting around outside. I know I've found their nails to kind of shed when I find the outer layers of them all around on the floors when I clean around the house. Lately, I've been falling behind on keeping their claws trimmed. It's one of those things I don't think about until Issy is kneading away on my lap, stabbing me with sharp razor claw-prints!
In reply to this comment by Deano: This does beg the question of how they cope without us. If they weren't domesticated what would happen to their nails?
For us this is a two man job. I hold the cat while standing and my sister does the cutting. Then they get treats straight after to compensate for the trauma
There's alot of things I could say pro and against Microsoft in the world of innovation (MS hardware has been pretty good, e.g the Curve keyboard I'm using) but mobile devices has surely been their weakness. I don't like the things but I'll hold fire til I actually use one on a daily basis - but who knows when that will be.
I would start by saying that all Star Trek is rubbish.
It's got this built-in level of crapness that you have to tolerate if you end up as a fan. I actually view Voyager as a great guilty pleasure and the others can go hang apart from the TOS which at least was good old campy fun.
TNG was utter drivel for it's first three seasons and that's a long time these days. Even after that it was dull and only intermittently exciting. No way a show would last that long now. I just thank the folks who made BSG and proving that intelligent, entertaining SF can be made and broadcast.
Enterprise was the lowest of the low - it couldn't maintain it's low-tech premise (weren't they resorting to transporters even in the first episode!?) and it looked like they had no idea what they wanted to do with it apart from recycle the standard Trek premise. And the characters were uniformly forgettable. Even pineapple head in Voyager trumped them.
>> ^brycewi19: Sophie is one of my internet favs. It's a shame that she needs to be described as a "cute girl" in order for people to watch it. I know you want to sift it, I get that, but frankly, she's a wonderful musician.
I wish she would be valued as that over her looks. But, really, if you don't label her as "cute" then probably nobody would hear her.
It's partly my unsubtle parody on the use of the term "cute chick" in titles on Videosift. And it worked! Still I think it would have sifted anyway.
I love that, great engineering to make it happen: I bet it's not trivial.
Like most recent laptops the keyboard looks rubbish. I doubt it will ever catch on given you can output to an external monitor and gain the extra vertical resolution but a nice gimmick and I'm sure some road warriors will benefit.

Cute chick plays song (and a rather nice Dylan cover)
